IE - gmail - error problems, please help.

Ok, I am new here and hopefully you can help me. I have been having bad luck with laptops lately and finally have a decent one that actually works. Lately when I try to check my gmail my IE freezes, stops responding, or becomes extremely sluggish. I have searched for 3 days now trying to find a solution and I cant find one that works.

I cleaned out all the temp files, cookies, history, etc - No change.

The most recent thing I found was on gmail help, it said to
"If your browser was already set correctly, it's likely that you have a
misconfigured system file. Here's how to reset the system file to the
default settings:
Click the Start button in Windows.
Select Run.
Enter regsvr32 msxml3.dll in the Open: field, and click OK. "

when I try to do this I get an error "The module 'msxml3.dll' was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005." So now I am stumped with what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running a Toshiba Satelite with Windows Vista x64. Thanks in advance for the help.

Tried each of the links. Ihave full admin privelages, and tried each of those solutions but still get the same error...
