IE7 Disconnects

IE Version: 7.0.5730.13
OS: XP
Internet: Cable, wired connection to my computer from a router.

When I open IE, it doesn't load a page. It says connecting, but nothing loads. I have tried toying with the settings in Tools>Internet Options>Connection. Sometimes after I try to Setup a new connection it will work after closing and reopening IE, but I can't find a pattern to it. I was using IE6 when the problems appeared. After installing IE7, the problems remained.

This problem appeared right about the same time I started having random disconnection issues with Firefox. I have loaded new Firefox profiles and have had some limited success alleviating the Firefox issues, but the IE problems remain.

Firefox is my main browser, but I need IE to view Instant Watch Netflix movies.

Any ideas?

Re: IE7 Disconnects

According to your words i assume , your are facing connectivity issue with the Internet explorer 7 , But firefox is working fine .
There might be some issue with the settings of the internet explorer , to resolve this open internet explorer , go to Tools > Internet options > Advance and click on the Reset .it will reset all the settings of the internet explorer .
this will solve your issue .

Solution: 1: Create restore point and take registry backup.
2: Delete all unwated software's, and toolbar, security software's. from program and feature.

3: Delete all temp files.
4: Disable all unwanted services from startup and then delete from registry.
5: reset internet explorer and register all .dll files.
6: scan with spyware removal and hijacthis and trojon removal tool.
7: Restart the computer and check windows update. if found and then update.
