Error 12029
I have XP Professional and IE 7. Recently, I've not been able to connect to internet websites but have verified that my internet access is working by pinging Yahoo.com with a response. I've closed all my firewalls and deinstalled Symantec Antivirus and all Spyware detection programs that I was using, and still can't make a connection. When I run the diagnostic tool, I get the following: HTTPS: successfully connected to www.microsoft.com, FTP (Passive): Successfully connected to ftp.microsoft.com, HTTP: Error 12029 connecting to www.microsoft.com: A connection with the server could not be established....
Don't know if it is connected but during this time I also got an error message on boot up: Error loading dl32. I've successfully solved that problem by running Autoruns. Any suggestions? |
