IE won't play videos

Why is it that Internet Explorer will not play videos ? If I click on a video link at a web site then I get a new page that says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. It could be caused by internet connection problems or problems at the web site"

However, if I use Firefox as my browser then I have no problem in viewing the videos.

I have Windows Vista now and not Windows XP, I don't know if this has anything to do with this matter ?

Re: IE won't play videos

Now I went to Driver Detective which did a scan and said that it found 12 outdated drivers but it wanted money to download it ? Isn't this a scam ?
I entered my postal code and I hope that they can't get any of my personal information through my postal code, do they know my address now from my postal code ?

Wouldn't it be simpler just to use Firefox than to spend hours to figure out what the problem is with Internet Explorer ?
