IE8 Cant save passwords

IE8 get 'password save' prompts but nothing saves.

open the internet explorer go to Tools > internet options > Advance and finally click on the reset button it will sureally resolve your issue .

Ive tried everything, resetting, deleting registry, and nothing works, I just want it to save my PWs when I log into websites, any help? Using Vista with IE8

I actually set my cookie settings (internet options>security...drag that bar to the bottom) to the lowest... seems to have done the trick. Although I wish there was a better way.
