ie8 rc1 inprivate retains url history
I thought I would try the new InPrivate function this evening and as I typed www.... a whole list of previously typed urls appeared below the address box. I asked my son about this and they were sites he had visited previously. Fortunately they were all "okay" (-;
But... he said that he had run two "cleaners" (CCleaner and East-Tec) as well as used the IE8 "delete browsing history". But... the typed in URLs remained even after a restart. Don't ask me why he uses those programs but whatever - they failed to clear the url history. Anyone any ideas about this? |
