IE 7.0 Compatibility with HTML Tables!?!!
OK. I am trying to make a website and I am having a bit of a problem with compatibility with IE 7. This is my first try in these stuff so plz help me....
I have a table, with one single cell in the first row and two cells in the second row. The width of the table is specified in the table definition itself so I assumed I don't need to declare it for the first row. The height of the first row was defined to be 113 and it shows the same way for Firefox and Dreamweaver design mode (I'm using CS3 for editing). But in IE7, it shows up weird and I can't figure out why. Look at the screenshot to understand what I'm talking abt. It's the one named IE glitch.jpg. I've also attached a snip from the code for the said section. Plz tell me how to byepass this glitch. Thanks a lot. |
