Internet Explorer 7 shuts down or freezes. I use windows xp professional.

You can try to resolve this problem by disabling the Add-ons. Even if it does not work then you have to scan your computer for the viruses by using the "Anti Malwarebytes and Superantispyware or HijackThis".
