Cannot remove Internet Explorer 7

I cant remove IE 7. Im getting into the control panel to remove programs and next to the IE 7 icon there is no remove button.
So how I can remove it?
Im doing this because in one website it requires IE higher than 5.5 to be able to access to one section, it tells me that I have IE 0 (version 0) and its supports IE only its not supporting firefox or other browsers.Si I thought to remove IE completely and reinstall it, maybe that would help me to make this web to identify this version.
What shall I do?

If it's just one website, I'd just quit going there!

What Operating System?

Re: Cannot remove Internet Explorer 7

The only possible way to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 that has been installed before installing Service Pack 3 is to uninstall the Service Pack 3 first and then Internet Explorer 7. Thats why you have no remove button.

Microsoft suggests that users of IE6 should update their system with Service Pack 3 first and install IE7 afterwards. This would ensure that the browser could be uninstalled normally.
