Flash and Silverlight Problem
Neither Adobe Flash or Microsoft Silverlight run properly in IE7 although they both work in Firefox and Chrome. If I uninstall and reinstall flash it will work for a short time and then stop again.
I am running Vista Ultimate with plenty of memory on a fairly new machine. I have installed all available updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Flash and Silverlight Problem
I've got the same issue. IE7, Flash, Vista seem to not work well together.
A little more about the situation: * Disabling User Account Control allows the combination to work fine. * Running IE7 as Administrator allows the combination to work fine. * After installing Flash, the combination works fine -- until IE7 is restarted. So it appears to have something to do with permissions. I've tried the Adobe/Microsoft script that changes Vista registry permissions, but it did not work. I'm going to go try IE8rc1 and see what happens. Any other ideas? --Mark Last edited by DonaldG; 01-31-2009 at 03:12 AM. Reason: Remove personal advertising url |
