IE 7 and Adobe Acrobat
I have IE 7 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 and Adobe Distiller 5.0 on my computer. I have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0. I have tried to set the default reader for .pdf files to the AR 9.0 but this does not stick. Whenever I try to read a .pdf file using IE7 I get a nastygram telling me to open it with AR 9.0, then AR 5.0 opens with a blank window. Do I have to uninstall both 5.0 Adobe programs and AR 9.0 then reinstall AR 9.0. I really cannot afford to purchase a later version of Distiller that is why I am hanging on to it.
What are my options? DS |
