Intermittent Internet
My ability to connect to the internet is very intermittent. If I try to view common sites (Ebay, etc), sometimes they work fine, sometimes text will appear but not pictures (pictures appear as a blank box with an "X", sometimes I get the "page can not be displayed" message.
I have Windows 2000 SP4, IE 6.0. I tried loading Firefox but get the same intermittent results. My email works fine. I use ESET Smart Security. Turning it off doesn't help. I'm going thru a wired router. A second computer wired to the same router works fine. Please help! |
