IE6 (XP-SP2) - Unable to open new IE window

A friend of mine has a problem in IE6. If he wants to open another IE window, it closes the original one. His system is virus clean, latest definitions, pop-up blocker, Ad-aware'd and Pest Patrolled. Any hints? Thanks

If in XP and Internet Explorer, click on tools Internet Options, Advanced, uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts", click OK, close all open Internet Explorer windows. Then open a browser session and see if it works.

I have SP2 running on four different machines here with no problems at all.

MARCVTEC2000: I would normally PM this, but you have that turned off. Please remove the link in your signature. This is reserved for TSF staff members only. Thanks.....
