Hello to all...ie will not launch wants to send a report to Microsoft

Hello to all, I am new to this forum. I have a problem that I was wondering if somebody could help me. Yesterday I had a piece of spy ware on my computer. It was a black screen that said "Warning your computer is in danger". So I was reading from this forum and it said to us a program called Freeclean. I used freeclean and it got rid of the black screen. I will also mention that I installed Norton Internet Security before to try to get rid of the black screen. Now when I try to launch IE, it will not open and wants to send an error report to Microsoft. If anybody has the solution to this problem that would be a great help.

Welcome to TSF.

We really don't like Norton Internet Security because of stability problems. Try removing that program first. Restart and see if Internet Explorer will work. If not, we will look into other methods.
