Copy Book, Bizrate, Redirections

Alright, ive been puttin up with this for a week now, and its got to the point where im fed up with it and want it sorted.

(Ill point out first that i put this thread here, because im not sure whether it is a virus, or something else such as malware or some stupid thing ive done that has cause this. I only know it is affecting Internet Explorer)

Basically, I keep finding myseld re directed to various sites from google links via Copy-book and bizrate. Im not sure how, or why.

Ive tried resetting my IE settings to the manufacturers defaults, and disabling the addons, and I still have the same problem.

Also, im not sure whether this is related but my AVG can no longer update, it begins to and then says it can't connect. If i try and do it manuallly, IE cant get to the relevan page on the website either.

AVG has yet to flash up anything, and neither has Spyware Terminator.

Anyone know what is going on with my PC/ Browser?

(if you want any detailed logs, youll have to tell me exactly how get them. This is my first pc (that is actually mine) and thus the first time im having to deal with these problems. Any help appreciated.)
