ie7 problems

i have just started getting problems opening the sign i page on aol email. it dosent all show so cant sign in.also bits missing of face book that where there before.i am using vista and have had no problems for a year.they both work properly if i use fire fox.dont kow if this related but i cant get window updates either get error80070003. tryed to fix it with microsoft sugestions but they dont work. can you help please.

the error message changed from 80070002 to 80070003.i have tryed every thing i can think of now thing works.

Would it just be better to use Mozilla? Works way better than IE7.
