IE7 error immediately upon opening
Windows XP IE7 has been working great until a recent auto update. Apparently something went wrong and now IE will not even open, it gets to the opening screen then immediately pops up "Encountered a problem needs to close". The data in the error is as follows:
Appname: iexplore.exe Appver:7.0.6000.16735 Modname:rpcrt4.dll Modver:5.1.2600.5512 Offset:000858b9 I've restored to point before auto update and still no good. When I went to get on computer after the auto update it appeared that computer was locked up in "shutting down" mode on the auto restart. Something went wrong but just dont know what. Rest of computer seems to be working just fine and same as always. ANY SUGGESTIONS. |
