No images appearing with IE - post trojan problem
Am recovering from a trojan attack (browser hijack) and am almost back to normal but am stumped here as follows. I was running Internet Explorer 6 previously, and while I can browse OK now, NONE of the pics and images will appear when I surf... I get the basic "broken image" icons, etc.
However - and this is what seems odd to me - if I right-click on the broken image and select "Show Picture", the picture will come right up. If I refresh the page, it will disappear again. I decided to try another browser, and downloaded the Firefox browser, and found that the images appeared fine. At that point I figured it must be IE, so I downloaded IE-7 and installed it, figuring a fresh install would solve the problem. It didn't. It behaves exactly like IE 6 did... no pics. Any guesses out there on what the problem is? I'm out of ideas... Thanks in advance :O) - Will |
