[SOLVED] Outlook express issues

Hope this is the right forum. Suddenly today I am unable to send e-mail. Getting those lovely error boxes. I can receive e-mail fine. No settings were touched and I checked account properties just to be sure. However last night I was going through my hard drive and weeding out some stuff. I must have deleted something outlook uses as this can't just be a coincidence. Obviously I'm connected and IE and Firefox work perfect.

I can't figure this out so I thought I'd remove and re-install outlook express. It's obviously integrated with IE. When I go to remove IE I get a warning regarding all the changes and programs related to IE that may be lost. Unsure what a browser would have to do with that as the list had important stuff on it. I use Firefox anyway.

I guess I can check my IE settings but I don't remember even touching those. Is there a way to remove or repair outlook without touching IE. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Re: Outlook express issues

I got it working and I'm really not sure how. I basically removed and reinstalled my two e-mail accounts. I was still having problems until I realized outlook keeps trying to send those failed e-mails in your outbox which causes non-stop error and reminder windows.. Deleted them and re-booted for posterity and all is well.
