problems logging into any chat room
hello everyone. I'm not quite sure whats going on..but we just recently made some upgrades to our computer, and now, I can't log into any chat rooms or game sites. for example, if i try to go into something like, yahoo pool..a red X will appear in the upper left hand corner of the screen and nothing loads. Its the same problem with every chat/game room I try to go to.
We recently made two changes to the computer, and either one of them could be the cause. First: we upgraded from windows ME, to Windows XP, we formatted the harddrive beforehand, and only saved our important files. Second: we switched from DELL net by msn dial upinternet service, to comcast high speed internet. these are the only two things weve done. any idea on how I can get IE to let me go back into these sites? |

Could be that you have Java and Javascript disabled. Try enabling them.
It should be in the "Tools" Drop down menu, then "Internet Options" and then most likely the advanced tab.
