Problem With Flash Player
Hello.
Whenever i log onto something requiring a Flash Player, most notably YouTube, i get a message saying "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." So i follow the link to download and install the new Flash Player, it says its done it and Installation successful, yet when i go to use YouTube or anything else needing Flash, it comes up with the same message saying i dont have it. Im running on Internet Explorer 7 with Windows XP, ive recently upgraded to it and i had the same problem on Internet Explorer 6 before hand, i also have BT Yahoo Browser on my PC and it does the same on that one. With three user accounts on my computer, 2 of the 3 have always worked with Flash Player, randomly. All of a sudden mine has decided to be the one which doesnt work. Which surely does prove Flash is on the PC if 2 of the user accounts can run it. And all accounts are set for Admin Access etc so i know its not being blocked by anything. I have already been into the Internet Options and change the security settings to allow ActiveX and JavaScript etc all of that is definatley turned on and it still isnt doing anything. I install it, and says Successful, and then it isnt there. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much :) Marty |
