Unable to open Javascript links in IE7
This problem has been going on for a while. I can't open certain links with javascripting. Some work fine. This usually happens after I shut off my computer or after I run a virus scan.
Today I hit a search button on a site and this is what I got: javascript:_doPostBack('ctl00$cphC$MainSearch$btnSearch',") The page doesn't go anywhere. Refreshing doesn't work, I can't open a new tab or window. I checked internet options and my scripts are enabled, I downloaded the microsoft script 5.7 didn't work, java sun worked for one night but the computer got shut off and same thing the next day...problems with javascript. The one thing I've noticed is it usually resolves itself after a few days but once anything shuts off or it's scanned the problem returns. Could it be a cookie problem or something else. I'm at the end of my rope here and I've found nothing that works. Any ideas? |
