Re: IE7 with XP PRO W/SP3 not showing some web sites correctly
I am having almost the same problem. I installed IE7 and noticed I can visit some websites but experiencing hangs ups on others. My Windows Media 11 has also stopped responding after uninstalling and reinstalling. I can not properly download Windows Update as well. Also, when I go to the Control Panel to Add and Remove Programs nothing comes up...It also appears to hang. I have Windows Live One Care and Spybot which I have used to scan the computer but appears to be no virus. I have also done a SDFix which didn't seem to get anything out the ordinary. I am so fed up with this! I have a an IBM Thinkpad given to me by a friend. It runs Windows XP (version 2002) SP2 1.8ghz with 512 MB RAM. I feel I have tried almost everything I can think of and need my laptop to start working correctly again!!! If anyone can help please HELP!!!! Thanks.
