Can't Copy URL

I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer. I was suprised to find that I can't copy/paste the URL If I wanted to copy the URL of a web page and paste it onto another page how would I do it?

It's normally the same way as in the previous version of IE.

What happens when you try to copy it?

This copy of IE came on Disc in the mail. I had to do this because my earlier copy didn't allow downloading.

After I label the URL I hit copy. When I do this you could see the URL clear. I can't paste the URL anywhere.

Ok, could you follow these steps and tell us what happens.

1. Open Google
2. Click in the address bar, then press Ctrl + C
3. Press the Windows key + r
4. Type clipbrd and hit enter
5. Can you see www.google.com in the window that opens?

No.

I discovered the answer myself. If I use short cut Control + C it works.

Evidently, as soon as I hit Page (before I get to Copy) the highlight disppears. This is a flaw in the software.
