PC freezes whn logged onto Internet

Dear all

I used to use Norton Antivirus 2007 for my pc. But recently, i had to remove it as it was not as efficient as i thought. instead i installed NOD32 antivirus software. The somethng very funny happened. Whenever i login to the internet my PC gets frozen and i hav to switch the power off and then swithc it on again.

After that once the computer switches on, i can use the internet even withought logging in with my ISP for some time. After a while the internet service times. Then when i login to the internet, it logs in and the pc freezes again.

any solutions.

Hi. . .

I suggest that you run the Norton Removal Tool.

Click on the Norton RT link in my signature area below and run it. When complete - re-boot.

Regards. . .

Hi. . .

Reset the Windows Firewall to default settings.

It would be in the security area of the control panel.

Sorry, don't have access to XP system right now to give better instuctions... if you need them, let me know.
