ie7 launching an html file from hard drive give a warning
Can you hrp me please?
I am using Windows XP pro. Whenever I access an HTML file from a folder on my hard drive I get the following message in the IE7 information bar- "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer stopped this site from installing an ActiveX control on your computer. Click here for options." I even get the message when I create a simple HTML file by pasting the following into notepad and saving it as "test.html" in my doucments. <html> <head> <title>Title of page</title> </head> <body> This is my first homepage. <b>This text is bold</b> </body> </html> Clearly there is no activex content in this. Thanks, Steve |
