Chrome Installation
Hi,
Dont know wether Happens to be a small issue with my Browser or ... tried installing Chrome in my pc and got a log report which states Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8007f004: Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130). The description for Event ID ( 20 ) in Source ( Google Update ) cannot be found. pls help me... but we use only corporate software as i work for a wellknown MNC... got to solve this |

I suggest that you perform a system restore to a point prior to the installation of chrome. chrome is a beta (test) version that I do not recommend at this time.

I too have had success installing Chome... but it is a beta version and anyone using such should be fully prepared to re-install the OS if need be. You never know with RCs or betas.

Chrome is the new web browser offered by Google - but it is a beta or test version and therefore may/probably will be updated many times to fix bugs before it becomes a production version - what I refer to as a relatively safe-to-use version. I would wait for the testing to complete - unless you can afford at anytime to re-install your OS. Look at all of the Problems Firefox 3 and IE8 are having.
