how do i make ie7 open livesearch instead of msm

this is proberly a silly question but when i open ie7 it opens with msm how do i change that to make it open with live search when i close open another tab that opens with livesearch.
also when i open prefrences in google and set it to 100 why when i close it does it go back to 10 page. the same happens in live, when i set that to say where im from when i close it and open again it goes back to saying im from califora usa. (im uk) thanks for helpin with these nigerly questions.

Hi. . .

Bring up the home page that you want. Then do this -

To change/add/delete a home page - go to the top of IE7 where the house icon is and click on the small down-arrow next to it. A small drop-down box will appear. Select add or change home page. Make your selection - use this as my only home page.

To set tabbing, click on the Tools - top-tight of IE7. Select Internet options. Select Settings next to tabs - check all the boxes under "enable tabbed browsing".

As far as Google is concerned... I never used to have a problem with it retaining 100 - until recently. I have noticed that it constantly resets to 10 and I have not yet figured out why. At first I thought it was b/c I was not logged onto my Google mail account, so I did that. But it did not work.

It seems to hold @ 100 sometimes, but other times it reverts back to 10. I know (or believe) this setting is in the registry. When I find it I will gladly let you know.

thankyou, but alass, your suggestions were what i first thought would solve the issues, but when i tried, as soon as i shut down the compuer and restarted it reverted back to the original settings of msm. also in prefrences in google, under location i put in my address (south coast uk) but that also revertse back to it default setting(cali, usa). have you any other ideas as its getting bugging now.thanks

and now it doesnt need powering off it reverts back to default just by closeing ie7 now, do you have any other ideas

hi again. this still hasnt done the trick aagain as soon as i close down ie7 and reopen it it reverts back to default any other ideas please, the ones so far have been good but this is getting very buggi now.
