Cannot connect to cetain sites

Today my browser stopped working properly. It now only lets me access certain sites. Ive tried using other browsers like FireFox and Opera but they have the same problem. Today I had a pop-up from Anti-spyware master I ran some virus scans and it has stopped popping up. When it opened in an IE browser to probably tell me that I should buy it the site wouldn't display properly. Also I have a laptop connected to the same router/modem and it lets me go on any site I want to.

disable your security software temporarily and check if you can browse normally.

I have the exactly the same problem as you mate, I have tried clearing all caches, history etc, disabled all my internet security including the windows firewall, and it still DOESN'T WORK! can anyone help?

try the following commands on the command prompt:

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

netsh winsock reset

if it still persists try the following:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

Use Firefox or check up with your ISP or you can reset your modem (if you have broadband)

I tried Firefox it does nothing and it cant be my internet cause every site works on my laptop which is connected by the same router. Also my task bar keep giving me a message saying that I have an urgent message and that brings me to anti spy ware master could that be blocking my internet?
