Can't delete ActiveX "Tools>Manage Add-ons"

I regularly like to clean up my computer of things that I've installed in the past that I don't want any more.

I was wondering how I could find the pathway to delete downloaded ActiveX controls. In IE7 I go to Tools menu, Manage Add-ons>Enable or Disable Add-ons and I am only allowed to enable or disable each add-on but not delete them. Why is the delete button greyed for me and where can I go to remove the ActiveX controls?

When you click on one of the addins, the Delete button does not become active?

Re: Can't delete ActiveX "Tools>Manage Add-ons"

Oh yeah, hmm those are ActiveX controls. I guess I mean that it won't let me delete the Add-ons in the other three sections of the drop-down menu.
