Certain websites stopped loading..

As of late sunday I tried to access two of the typical websites I'd go to normally - battleforums.com and 4chan.org. Both websites have stopped loading for me completely. Before sunday night/monday morning everything worked fine and loaded fine. From then to today they will not load. I know for a fact battleforums is still up, as well, since I've talked to other members who are loading it just fine.

If I type them into the address bar they try loading for a few seconds before redirecting to ask.com with search results for the website as a search- which is abnormal as it is- and then when I click the correct result for the webpage I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

I haven't installed any new programs or firewalls or anything that I can imagine would cause this lack of loading all of a sudden. I've also tried deleting all cookies/temp files/etc and flushed my DNS cache, closed firewall, opening them in firefox, and still no fix.

Okay. Update. I talked to the admin of BF.com and he told me my IP was blocked by the server because it made 400+ connections and since the website loaded for about 15 minutes before doing blocking it again, I'm assuming it happened again. Does anyone know as to how/why it's blocking me or what's happening that's causing me to make 400 connections?
