Problem with IE opening of its own accord every few seconds
My Internet explorer keeps opening up on its own in the background on its own and not too sure how to get it to stop.
If i open task manager IE is usually opens and disappears about 10 times but doesn't show on my screen. I tried removing it (IE) entirely because i use firefox(5.0) now. But every so often my system will freeze for a second and i see the task manager runing at 100% and when i check it, i see iexplorer popped up there. Ran Ad aware(latest version) 3 times and deleted what it came up with. I also ran windows defender and that didn't find anything . Bit frustrated now. Vic |
