IE 7 tops working after opening several tabs

After working with and opening several tabs in Internet Explorer, it will just stop working. I'll decide to open the next window in a new tab and...nothing. It will act as if the page is loading, but nothing will ever come up. I am using IE 7.

I have to start a completely new session of Internet Explorer to make it work. Then I have to copy and paste all my links from the previous tabs that I tried to load before into the new window. Once that window stops working, I have to open yet another separate instance of Internet Explorer.

Right now I have five instances of Internet Explorer working right now. This really can be an annoyance especially if I want to open a page that I feel is important to view, and this problem has been happening with me for quite some time.

Is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know of a way I can fix this problem so that it stops happening?

Thank you,
Brad

Re: IE stops working after opening several tabs

Oh well. Everyone is mute. No one can answer that question. I've asked in other newsgroups as well. IE just has a lot of bugs like these where there just is no solution to them...except for one, which someone should have suggested already: switch to Firefox.

I grudgingly made the change mostly because of this IE bug, and Firefox works perfectly in all the ways that IE just can't deliver. I have to say that it has really grown on me. It is so much better than IE. Sometimes I will test the same link in IE and Firefox, and Firefox is always much faster. Can't dispute that.
