explorer opacity - flash swf opacity problem
I have a div layer wich contain a swf embeded with object tag.
The swf have some grafic with some opacity level. till here no problem - explorer display the swf with his opacity . But when i change the div opacity or even jast put on the div any opacity style: filter:alpha(opacity=anyValue); explorer ignore the swf opacity. That meen it is not possible in explorer to change any html elemet opacity that contain swf with opacity because explorer stop to display the swf opacity. Other browsers like firefox do not have this bug and thy have the ability to change the html element opacity without ruining the swf opacity wich are contained inside. Is there any way to fix this explorer behavior ? |

Re: explorer opacity - flash swf opacity problem
hey,
I'm pretty sure it's not possible to change the opacity of a swf object in IE, (i thought it wasn't possible in any browser but you say it is)... Can you not change the opacity of whatever in the flash file itself? Cheers, Jamey |

Re: explorer opacity - flash swf opacity problem
you completely misunderstanding me
maybe i was not clear enough i am not traying to change the opacity of the swf object in IE at all!! i am changing only the div opacity i am trayng to change the opacity of html elemet that contain inside him swf object element and can contain any other more html elements i am changing the div style html element property: filter:alpha(opacity=anyValue); by doing so in explorer all the opacity values in the swf are ruined. in other browsers like firefox the opacity values in the swf are well shone you can test a demo of this explorer bug in html page i did: test it in explorer and then in firefox and see the difference: http://www.fsex.co.il/bug.html when you test it chose lower opacity and then go back to 100 opacity look at the page code and see i am changing only the div element opacity in a very simple way - and not changing at all the swf in any way Is there any way to fix this explorer bad bugy behavior ? thanks a lot for any solution!! |
