Explorer.Ink file error message
When I click on the Explorer icon on the desk top, it returns the following messge: "the file or folder 'Explorer.Ink" that this shortcut refers to cannot be found". What does this mean? How do I fix it?

Re: Explorer.Ink file error message
hey, did you drag the icon from the start menu to the desktop? usually thats why that happens:
- Right click the link on the desktop - Click properties - Find the location it points to and see if it's in the start menu folders (e.g. "C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Start Menu\explorer.lnk" [or your username]) If it points to the start menu then change it to the program menu's entry, or re-copy the link from the start menu to the desktop (maybe you changed the name of the one in the start menu)... Cheers, Jamey |
