Opening .txt attachments in email
I recently purchased a new Compaq PC with Vista and ever since my email will not open attachments, it will just give me the download box and never open. I have to go into Internet Explorer Tools menu and reset settings everyday in order to open these. This means reprogramming logins and passwords every day. Compaq gave up after 3 calls and said it was in my email program. My email program says it's in Internet Explorer. Anybody know how to reset these internet settings to where they will stay?
