Re: starting ie
Welcome to TSF!!
I would like you to go to your desktop and delete the shortcut that is on there for IE. Then try going to IE in the programs menu. Right click on it and choose create shortcut from the list. If you don't have that option then just drag and drop the IE icon from the programs menu to the desktop. That should create a shortcut for you. Then see if you are able to open it up to your homepage. Cheers!

Re: starting ie
You can always open IE and check the Internet Options and see if you can change the settings from there so that it will open to the homepage. If that works you can always reset it back to the defaults. Just go to the advanced tab and choose reset.
Cheers!

Re: starting ie
ok i managed to make it work but i works oddly...
i made it work by going in to : "C:\WINDOWS\ie7" and creating a shortcut to the internet explorer lofo, there and it works but it uses internet 6, and when i have an internet 7 page open and i try to go on a web site from the other internet, it opens a tab in the explorer 7 to go to said page, which is rather weird but at least it works :D thanks to wmorry for the tips |
