youtube issues

hi.
im having a problem with youtube.
when i try to go to look at videos nothing comes up and says that
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
so im pretty sure my javascript in enabled
i have the latest version of adobe
when i go to the link that has the latest flash player and i click to install. nothing happens
can anyone help
im running ie7 on win xp

also i was wondering how can i download videos to my ipod

Go here and make sure you have the latest version of Macromedia Flash

Enable Java in Internet Explore

• Please open up Internet Explore
• Click Tools, then on Internet Options
• Click on the tab Advanced
• Scroll down too Java (Sun)
• Check the box for JRE 1.6*_** (The ** will change depending on the version of Java)

• Next, please click the tab Security
• Click the "Custom Level" button
• Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets"
• Make sure "Enable" radio button is checked.
• Click OK to save your preference.

ok i downoaded the latedst flash and still youtube yont play videos
still getting the same message
