Re: website wont work!?
mosaic.com results in a server-generated error page, while www.mosaic.com gets to the page. They have the server configured incorrectly, to only allow web connections on the www. subdomain. It's an incredibly annoying indicator of sysadmin incompetence - my high school's web page is one of a few others I have encountered that do this.

Re: website wont work!?
Are you trying to get to the page just the way that you typed it here, as mosaic.com? Or are you trying to get to this page www.mosaic.com.
I wasn't able to reach mosaic.com, I got a 403 forbidden error in FF. But when i put in the www in front then I was able to. Cheers!
