IE 7 glitches
Hi folks, new to this forum. having a few major pronblems with IE7. I don't use IE. I use my MSN premium as my browser, nice and simple. problem I am having is , when I use my back button or just, lately, close a window, IE 7 opens up, right over my desk top or whatever page I am viewing at the time. it is a minimized view of the desk top. the real problem with this is,at the same time that little view of the IE 7 desktop is open, inside that window, there is a web page openong, and closing, openiing and closing very fast, back and forth . it is a google tab and an about blank tab. from here this window cannot be closed. it freezes my browser and have to open task manager. even the task manager has a problem closeing. no sooner do you click end task, immediatly re-opens, like a porn site. I have done a billion scans and restores, but still comes back. also, cannot get rid of the home pages whithin IE 7. AOL is on there. it won't go away. I am running windows vista home prem. wanted to update IE 8, but reading all the other posts. IE 8 seem not worth it either. can I uninstall IE 7? I don't see it in programs by itself.
