somehow i cannot send a page thru email now. i hit file, then "send as page", yahoo browser opens, i fill in address line. then hit send. when email comes thru, the "body" of it is blank! only a line, such as, Cholestoff.htm, is showing. no picture, words, nothing--just blank. have done reset thru internet options-advanced- reset--did not help. I did spend time with level 2 tech at ATT, who said, after much time/work, that his/ linked equipment showed that i was sending/receiving thru safe mode, but i'm not so sure. i have windows XP, internet explorer is my (?) browser. I also sent a page to g-mail, and it was also blank. what to try next? is one part not speaking to another, or something?
when i open the "sent" folder at yahoo, the line shows something was sent, but it too is blank. I tried system restore twice, but no help there. I did recently install Limewire, after not having it for 4 yrs. could there be conflict there? I use AVG free as anti-virus, but in all the mess i've taken it out, just to check if it was problem. thanks for any help. new greatgrandmother in Indiana |
