IE keeps popping up!

Yeah, IE comes up out of nowhere when I close folders or anything but internet related things. How can I stop it from popping up all the time?

download mozilla firefox then uninstall ie problem solved

i already have firefox downloaded and thats what i always use but internet explorer can do a few things that firefox cannot...so i didn't really want to uninstall it...

intelfan: you need IE to use windows/microsoft updates
only IE can use activex controls, which are quite rare actually
some websites require IE

your problem will not be solved by removing IE because you seem to have some adware or something
post a hijackthis log into the HJT section of the forum

well uninstall IE then reinstall maybe that will fix the problem, I'm just trying to help

hey i was only trying to help you don't have to call me names so what if i have vista, theirs other computers in the house the have XP sp2 okay. Right now I'm working off a different compute that's running xp

BTW the way you can uninstall IE7 and when you do you go back to 6

what are the pop ups of?
