Cannot install IE7
Hi all,
When I try to install IE 7 by running the downloaded setup file from download.microsoft.com, the setup starts the installation, skips the "Installing IE Core Components" and goes straight to the "Finalizing installation" and wants to restart the machine. The problem occurs on the clean Windows XP SP3 installation. What can I do to properly install IE7? Thanks. |

Go thru the Windows or MS Updates page. you probably have pre-requisite updates to install before IE7 can be installed on your machine.
Install everyhting it wants, IE7 will be in one of the batches after the right pre-req's are in.
