I.E. 7 versus I.E. 6.0
Hi,
I've refrained from updating internet explorer (I've got Win XO sp2) as I didn't like the look of it on my daughters computer and found it confusing. Anyway, I just wondered if I should download it as it's sitting on my task bar and has done for months, or should I continue with version 6.0 which I'm comfortable with? Have read there can be more problems with the new version... and I've enough probs on my computer now that I can't sort out without adding to them... but what is the best solution? Many thanks for your comments. Chrissie |

Re: I.E. 7 versus I.E. 6.0
Thanks GTP. I still have the update for it sitting on the task bar of the computer, not wanting to update it but it won't go away. Think I will have to do it eventually, my daughter has it on hers and she's happy with it but I didn't like it, guess I much prefer what I know lol.
Having my PC upgraded etc etc if I can, Norton's is almost dead thanks to a techy guy messing it up.... but I have to get more RAM and someone will have to do it.... I love my computer but only if it's working ok... sigh. Chrissie |

Re: I.E. 7 versus I.E. 6.0
i would reccomend gettin rid of NOrton and installing free antivirus and firewall, ther work a lot better
Here is a list of some of the best free Anti virus:
Free firewalls:
**Note: Only have One Firewall and Antivirus installed on a system at the same time. If you have more than one they may cause conflicts and system instability.** |

I agree with you GTP, I had norton for a while and I really didn't like it, I recommend getting Windows Live One Care, greatest thing I ever downloaded.
