CSS won't display

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop .. 2-3 years old. I build web sites with CSS and they show up fine on my desktops but won't display correctly on the laptop even though I'm using the same version IE browser. I originally thought it was a cheap monitor and wasn't that concerned about it! Now I'm using the laptop more often and would really like to view some of the CSS items I'm missing. I've gone through the online help, etc. to no avail. I signed up here this evening in hopes of obtaining some geniun assistance. Thanks in advance.

Do you have these problems in any other browsers? Please try one of the below (both are free):
