Error when interacting with Web application

Hi

We experience a IE error on some of our clients when these users are running a Java web application on a Apache Tomcat server.

The error state:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://<Web site> Operation aborted.

All our users are running IE 6.0.2900 on Win XP SP2

There exist several Microsoft support articles about this problem but all of these assume changes in the code in the web application, and this is an application that has been working perfectly for years and still is for e.g. Mozilla Firefox.

Is there any IE fixes available or is there any plans to produce such?

Hello and welcome to TSF

COuld you get some of your clients to update to IE7 and see if the same problem occurs

We have installed IE7 on one of these machines and we get the exact same problem in IE7!
