Really Weird IE7 Problem

I opened IE7 on my computer (XP, SP3) and it instantly turned into a full window of many squares of different shades of blue with the words "Windows Internet Explorer" about halfway down, left justified. All that it showed was the top bar (icon, name of program) with restore, maximize, and exit buttons on the right (and this was when it was maximized), i.e. no back button or menu, etc. Just a bunch of different shades of blue. Note: not to be confused with BSOD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you printscreen and show me a picture of what you see?

1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn.
3. Open a new document in MS Word, MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Upload is somewhere on the Internet to show

Re: Really Weird IE7 Problem

I forgot to mention that. My friend tried to fix it but it went all white and said 'Not Responding,' so I couldn't get a capture of it. But I exited out of it, opened IE again and it didn't do that again, instead going to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx.

Re: Really Weird IE7 Problem

The blue squares? What caused that?

I just realized you've been replying to both of my threads. I appreciate what you do.
