Outlook Express/Yahoo.co.uk Help :(
Today I started having a problem with Outlook Express. I have my mail that goes to yahoo.co.uk going to my outlook express. When I clicked send/receive button, I got this message:
Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR problem retrieving message.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD I went and signed into yahoo.co.uk and can see my mail there, but when I try to view it I get this: We didn't understand your request. The request sent by your browser was missing some information. Please try again. If the problem persists, we suggest that you close all browser windows, relaunch your browser, and log into Yahoo! Mail again. If you still have problems, please contact Yahoo! Mail Customer Care. I found a help page that referred to the outlook express error and got most of the way done, but when I was to put in my password, it said my username was fine, but the password is wrong. When I went straight to yahoo.co.uk, I can actually sign in..just can't view my mail. It seems to me that I don't only have an Outlook Express problem but also a Yahoo.co.uk problem. My other yahoo mail accounts are fine..I can see all of my mail and access it. My outlook express mail that comes from ukonline is fine..I can access it and view it. I'm sorry if this is too many details, but I thought I'd get it all out there and maybe someone could help :( Thanks so much! Lucky |
