Vista's IE 7 acting weird
I am running Vista Home Premium and using a dial up Internet Connection since I am in a Rural area. I can dial in just fine and when I open IE 7 it wants to diagnose the connection and gives me an error 771 or a 778. The only connection it wants to diagnose is the Local Area Connection, which could be why it is giving me the Networking errors since it is not active. Has anyone had this same type of problem and what could be causing it?
Someone else suggested using Firefox or Opera to browse the Internet and that IE 7 is just lousy with bugs. I am going to try and download Firefox or have someone burn it off for me. Thanks in advance. |
