[SOLVED] Google.com changes to Goolge.es

For some reason when i go to google.com the url automatically changes to google.es. I've run virus scans and Hijack, checked hosts.sam and lmhosts.sam and can find no problems. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to correct it?

Re: Google.com changes to Goolge.es

What you're describing sounds like Google is actually changing it for you. I'm not sure of your geographic location, but Google thinks that you live in a Spanish speaking country, which they have determined by your IP address. I'm not sure if theres an option to make them stop within Google, but you should be able to.

Well Occam's Razon would suggest that's whats happening, however I can find no option in Google correct or prevent it.

Re: Google.com changes to Goolge.es

KraftDinner is correct. . Google is redirecting you to Spanish google, because it reads your IP to detrmine where about you live, and what language is spoken in that region.

To go to google.com, click Go to Google.com, on the google page.
